Latest Reveals About The Top 20 Richest Clubs
The latest edition of the Deloitte Football Money League was published this week.
According to the annual financial study, Real Madrid’s revenue in the 2022/23 season was higher than that of any other club in the world.
Deloitte’s calculations claim that Madrid raked in €831.4 million. Manchester City placed second in the 2022/23 Money League with an estimated income of €825.9m.
Note that the report didn’t include plater sales. As such, Manchester City’s revenue excluding player sales was €825.9m for the 2022/23 season, according to Deloitte.
6 Premier League Teams Make Top 10
City were joined in the top 10 by five other Premier League clubs, including local rivals Manchester United in fifth with a revenue of €745.8m.
Meanwhile, Tottenham made more than both Arsenal and Chelsea last season. An impressive financial performance by Spurs was largely due to the money-making power of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which hosted Beyonce, as well as multiple NFL games, in 2023.
However, Tottenham will likely be below Arsenal in next year’s Money League. That is because Spurs are not competing in the UEFAChampions League during the 2023/24 season and will therefore experience a significant drop in TV and prize money.
