Group A

- Ecuador have a young exciting team including Enner Valencia. Made quarters in 2021.
- Venezuela have underperformed lately but have quality players like Soteldo if they click.
- Peru are streaky but dangerous with Carrillo and Lapadula leading the line.
Group B
- Argentina are defending champs and Lionel Messi continues to shine at 35. Unbeaten in 2023 so far.
- Uruguay have world class talents like Valverde and Nunez but have transitioning sides lately.
- Paraguay are steady if unspectacular with players like Santa Cruz and Sanchez.
- Bolivia will struggle but have a star in Marcelo Martins Moreno.
Group C
- Colombia are firing on all cylinders behind Cuadrado and Zapata. Favored to top the group.
- Mexico have outperformed of late and Raul Jimenez leads the line. Dark horse potential.
- Costa Rica will fight hard but lack elite talent of late. Keylor Navas in goal gives them a chance.
- Panama are the underdogs but have speedy players that could surprise.
Group D
- Chile are consistent with Alexis Sanchez and Vidal leading them. Contenders if they find form.
- USA will have pressure as hosts but Pulisic, Reyna and co could shock people.
- Honduras will scrap but lack high end players of others in group.
