England Must Roar or Exit Euro 2024 Early

You won’t believe what happened with England today! They had a big chance to lock up their spot in the next round but really struggled against Denmark.

At first Harry scored early to put them ahead, which was great. But then like last time, England settled back on defense and looked so sloppy on the ball.

Their passing went wayward and Jude, who did amazing before, disappeared in this game.

Denmark kept pressing and actually smashed an equalizer past them. Morten thundered in a shot off the post after England gave it away. What a strike!

In the second half, Bukayo tried to spark things up top. He almost got a great header in too.

But overall, England didn’t play with much fire and GArek even had to pull Trent early because it wasn’t working out.

Now they’ll need a result against Slovenia to guarantee moving on. Their performance was seriously alarming.

And, they’ll need to find that energy and intensity if they want to go deep in this tournament. You’ll have to tune in for their final group match – it should be do or die drama!

What must England do?

Here are a few things England could focus on to bounce back stronger:

You lads need to get back to what works – flying into tackles, moving the ball forward at speed. Don’t let off the gas just because you’re ahead. Denmark proved if you do, any team can hurt you.

Gareth would be smart to play to your strengths too. That means freeing up your stars, not stifling creativity. Jude and Phil are magic makers – give them the ball!

Shore up that midfield as well. Look lively tracking back, snuffing out threats, and getting the ball upfield quick. Control games instead of being controlled.

Most of all, remember why you wear those 3 lions – pride, heart and never saying die! No matter the scoreboard, leave every shred of effort out there. Your country and fans deserve nothing less.

If you channel that English spirit, even if it’s 0-0 against Slovenia, I just know you’ll find a way through. Keep the faith lads – this tournament is still yours for the winning! Come on England!

You heard it here first, lads – if England wants to avoid an embarrassing group stage exit, they’ll need to summon the lion within against Slovenia.
