Mbappe Misses Next March With a Broken Nose
France’s top soccer player Mbappé had a run-in with a broken nose during a match with Austria at Euro 2024, leading to a visit to a medical facility in Düsseldorf.
The doctors initially thought he might need surgery, but after further tests, they figured he’d be all right without going under the knife.
Even though he’s out of the hospital and back with the team, Mbappé might have to sit out the next game against the Netherlands due to his injury.
The incident happened when Mbappé collided with an Austrian player, causing quite a bit of pain as he lay on the field.
He tried to keep playing but had to be subbed off for treatment. Despite that, France managed to pull off a win with an own goal, giving their national team coach his 100th victory.
Mbappé showed some real skills during the game, setting up the winning goal, but he also missed a great chance by not scoring from a good spot.
Even though things turned out okay for France, there’s still room to do better in terms of their offense moving forward.
The standout performance of N’Golo Kanté in the midfield was key to the team’s success, and the player was happy to be back on the national team.
France is staying focused on building on their solid start in the tournament and aiming for better outcomes in the next games.
