Will Arteta win anything for Arsenal this season?
Will Arteta win anything for Arsenal this season?
Arsenal is already out of Carabao and FA Cup. It’s already out of the Premier League title, too. (Someone convince me otherwise). Does he need to use tactics like these ones here?

Arsenal out of the premier League title challenge
Come to think of it. After 20 premier league matches, Arsenal had managed 50 points last season. Also, they were at the top of the premier league table, 5 points ahead of Manchester City.
How about this season? Arsenal FC is 4th in the premier league table with 40 points, a massive 5 points behind table-toppers Liverpool, and only 2 points ahead of 5th placed Tottenham Hotspurs. They can’t score, and won’t score.
Surely, Arsenal is getting beaten in their own stadium by average teams. Even lowly, below average teams make it very hard to beat at home. But, not Arsenal.
Goalkeeper can’t keep a clean sheet
Worse still, they can’t seem to keep a clean sheet, thanks to the new average sweeper-keeper who misses crosses and concedes near post goals with reckless abandon.
But, he won’t worry about that. After all, his position is perfectly secure with countryman Arteta at the helm. No worries. He will play always, nevertheless.
Knocked out of the champion’s league next?
When are we (arsenal getting knocked out of the Champions league? Come on Porto FC. Arsenal is there for the taking. You have nothing to fear.
Just make sure you score at least 2 goals at the near post. Use crosses, the keeper is game for you. Concede free kicks and corners.
This frail Arsenal is toothless and harmless with such. Don’t fear the Emirates stadium too. It doesn’t count at all.
Plan your game, and don’t worry about Havertz or Raya. Wait for them to get tired if you can’t score early. Arteta won’t use the bench till there are 5 minutes left in the game.
Arsenal has a rigid stubborn manager
In truth, we Arsenal fans are tired of continuously supporting a frigid impotent team led by a rigid stubborn manager.
A manager who sticks with his mistakes to justify his process at the expense of the team.
A manager who drops an above average goalkeeper for an average countryman from a mid-table team with no sniff of his national team duties.
A manager who gives chances to off form favorite players who can’t perform in the given positions but play just because they cost a fortune.
A manager who keeps promising players like Trossard, Nelson, Elneny, Smith Rowe, and more on the bench without getting minutes until they lose their confidence to ever perform.
Final take.
In a nutshell, Arsenal’s season is gone. Again. It retains the title of Christmass champions who never win go on to win the league. How I hope I will be proven wrong as an Arsenal fan?
How I hope a miracle can happen to change our manager’s trust the process? But, someone tell Arteta that 4 years is long enough without winning.

Or should we buy a soccer tactics book like this one from Pep Guardiola?
